Elvira Bach visits us again in the Gallery ART AFFAIR!
The prestigious artist, born in Neuenhain in Taunus, lives and works in Berlin. She devotes herself to women as her subject, showing them in poses ranging from romantic to self-confident, depending on her mood and desire.

Her characters stand completely on their own and radiate an undisputed self-evidence. At the same time, they are always motivated and moved by all the emotions that life has to offer.

The artist became popular in the 1980’s as a representative of the “Neue Wilde” (New Wild Ones). This group of artists came to public attention with their life-affirming paintings, leaving behind the often gloomy trends of the post-war years.

Elvira Bach has continued to develop. She is all about conveying emotions and being able to express herself, and has retained her lively nature in the process.
